Measure Angled Bay Windows For Roman Blinds - Guide.
- You will need:
- 2 pieces A4 Paper.
- Pencil
- Steel Tape Measure
- Ruler
1.The
headrail for our roman blinds protrudes by 43mm. If you have vents or
window handles which protrude forwards of the window frame add the
distance they protrude to the 43mm above. This measurement will be know
as (A1).
2. Lay your two pieces of A4 paper end to end and mark
distance A1 in from the edge. (A1 is 43mm plus size of vents or window
handles)
3.
Slide the two pieces of paper into the corner of you bay(which will be
the intersection of you blinds) until the two marks meet up.
4.
Place a faint mark on the window frame at the point where the edge of
you paper meets the frame. Repeat this process at the into the other
corners of your bay.
5.
Measure between the two marks, this will give you the size of your
blinds. Order these blinds as recess size on the web site.
